Mom, sis and I had an early dinner last weekend and gorged - I mean gorged - on lobster tails. We started with fresh guacamole, prepared table-side and just the way we like it - with even extra cilantro on the side just for me! Lobster tails were cooked perfectly. Once again, the food is really good here, but it is the friendly service that pushes this place over the edge to Star Power.

We have regularly visited the steakhouse for more than 10 years. We have grown accustomed to having great food and great service. The steaks have always been spot on. The last couple times we've gone in, we have been increasingly disappointed. This last time we ordered 3 $30 filets. They were not grilled, more like broiled. All were over cooked. I also had the brussels sprouts and they tasted out if a can. For the price of what we paid, we were very disappointed. We may never return.

We dined with friends on a Sunday night. The service was friendly if a little slow. We started with the shrimp cocktail and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were excellent. The shrimp was incredibly fresh tasting. I split the smaller prime rib with my daughter with spinach and mashed potatoes. The prime rib was served slightly over poked, but the flavor and tenderness of the steak made up for it. The mashed potatoes were very tasty, but the creamed spinach was bland. My husband got the same thing except with a baked potato and asparagus. The asparagus was bland. He had no comment on the baked potato but really enjoyed his prime rib. The restaurant was located upstairs in Bronco Billy's Casino.

We had the prime rib. It was okay. Not great but not bad either. We also had the creamy onion soup. That was excellent! My friend had the barbecue lamb soup and she loved it. The service was really great!

The food and service here are top notch! The steaks are huge and cooked perfectly as are the lamb lollipops, which are melt in your mouth delicious. The tableside guacamole is fantastic and so is the calamari. It can sometimes be a bit loud in there, which is my only complaint because the food and the staff are wonderful!!!

We were told how terrific the food is here, however, we never got the chance. The man at the front desk taking reservations was so surly and unfriendly, not only to our party, but the party ahead of us, I couldn't imagine parting with my money at such a place. Hopefully management knows of whom we speak and can post to us that he's gone so we can reconsider and see how good the food is.
